This participant-driven gathering is an opportunity to connect in-person, share practices, and explore common professional inquiries.

By coming together, we can demonstrate the power of collaboration and discussion, learn from one another, and gain valuable insights that will help you navigate your leadership journey with confidence.

Michael Iannini

Michael Iannini is ACAMIS’s Leadership Development Facilitator and a Search Associates Partner supporting its members in China to improve Recruitment, Induction, and Retention of Overseas Teachers. He is also a Council of International Schools (CIS) Affiliated Consultant. Michael’s first book, Hidden in Plain Site: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders, is the foundation for all his leadership development work.

Ewen Bailey

Ewen Bailey is an experienced international leader in education who supports teachers and leaders to build resilient, collaborative teams focused on continuous improvement. Currently based in Singapore, Ewen has previously directed whole-school professional development for one of China’s top IB World schools, where he fostered a collaborative culture of student-centred professional learning.

We will explore how middle leaders can play a pivotal role in guiding their teams through periods of change. By discussing strategies for fostering trust, communication, and resilience, participants will delve into practical ways to support their teams during transitions.

Meeting Collaboration

We will explore how well-defined processes and procedures can create a productive and inclusive environment for team collaboration. Participants will share best practices for structuring meetings that encourage open dialogue, clear action steps, and shared responsibility.

  • How can middle leaders use processes and procedures to effectively support collaboration within their teams?

Supporting Professional Growth

We will focus on how middle leaders can foster an environment that encourages continuous development for their team members. Participants will share strategies for mentoring, providing meaningful feedback, and creating opportunities for growth within their teams.

If notice of cancellation re the registered participant is received:
  • 30+ days pre-event: 80% of fee is refundable
  • 15-29 days pre-event: 40% of fee is refundable
  • Less than 15 days pre-event: no refund

Refund due to PD Event Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of a conference, workshop or online PD program, we will fully refund the registration or sponsorship fee(s) paid. However, we will be unable to refund any travel, visa or accommodation expenses incurred or course material fees where access has been granted.
