Julia Ferris

Julia is an experienced international educator with a background in both New Zealand and overseas teaching. Having worked in PYP schools, Julia is deeply passionate about fostering inquiry-based learning environments that engage and inspire young learners. With a strong commitment to student-centered education she brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a collaborative spirit to the PeerSphere community. Her international experience and dedication to continuous improvement makes her an ideal co-host for this community of lower elementary educators.

Nikita Nagel

Nikita Nagel is a dedicated grade 5 teacher currently based in Zhuhai, China, with a background in education that began in New Zealand. With experience in upper elementary teaching, Nikita is passionate about advancing practices and pedagogy to foster student engagement and learning. Her expertise spans diverse educational settings, blending innovative strategies from her New Zealand roots with insights gained in China. Nikita is committed to supporting fellow educators in exploring effective teaching methods and sharing valuable resources to enhance classroom experiences.
