Social and Emotional Counseling

Generative and collaborative Peer Learning Community for Social and Emotional Counseling

The Social and Emotional Counselling community invites all new and experienced School/Guidance Counsellors to join us this year. In a safe and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss topics and scenarios with fellow counsellors as we look to grow and become the counsellors that our students and colleagues need.

Topics that we will address include planning and/or implementing a school counselling programme, case consultations, caseload management, counselling approaches/techniques, student/staff well-being programmes, ethical matters and sharing best practices.

This community will also focus on supporting counsellors, who are easily overlooked as people who need support in their jobs. This is a forum to brainstorm ideas and access guidance and support from colleagues. This community aims to be a caring companion to each of its members, focusing on work-life balance and self-care. Join us today!
