The Elementary Principals Community is a collaborative group designed to support and empower elementary school principals in their roles as educational leaders. This community provides a platform for principals to share best practices, discuss challenges, and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities. With a focus on improving student outcomes and promoting a culture of continuous learning, the Elementary Principals Community is a valuable resource for any elementary school principal looking to enhance their leadership skills and make a positive impact in their school community and beyond.

Keryn Dowling

Keryn Dowling is a passionate education leader with over 25 years of experience. Known for her innovative approach to curriculum development and work in Elementary leadership, she’s transformed schools into dynamic hubs of learning. Keryn fosters collaboration among educators, driving continuous improvement in teaching practices. Her inclusive leadership style creates supportive environments where all students thrive. Passionate about educational equity, she advocates tirelessly for access to quality education for every student. Keryn’s impact extends far beyond awards; she’s dedicated to inspiring the next generation of leaders in education.

Sandy Venter

Sandy Venter, born and raised in South Africa, is an experienced educator with a career spanning 19 years, including 12 years within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Throughout her journey, she has been deeply committed to fostering excellence in education and promoting innovative teaching methodologies. With leadership roles encompassing six years, two of those in a startup school in Russia, Sandy has shown a strong ability to guide educational communities towards collaborative growth and success. Her professional experiences have taken her to four countries, providing her with valuable insights into diverse cultural and educational contexts. Currently based in China as a Head of Primary and PYP Coordinator, Sandy believes in nurturing a team who are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive learning environment where each student is empowered to explore, inquire, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
