Generative and collaborative Peer Learning Community for Subject Leaders 

Welcome to our vibrant and dynamic community for Secondary Subject Leaders! If you’re passionate about collaborating with team members to improve teaching and learning in your subject area and want to connect with like-minded teacher leaders, then you’ve come to the right place.

Our community is a hub for subject leaders in international schools to share their knowledge, ideas, and experiences. As a member of our community, you’ll have access to a wealth of resources, including solution-focused discussions on the most important issues that you are facing. You’ll also be able to connect with peers, collaborate on a professional inquiry, and expand your network.

We welcome subject leaders from all backgrounds and levels of expertise, so whether you’re a seasoned department leader or just starting out, you’ll find a supportive and inclusive community here.

Michael Iannini

Michael Iannini is ACAMIS’s Leadership Development Facilitator and a Search Associates Partner supporting its members in China to improve Recruitment, Induction, and Retention of Overseas Teachers. He is also a Council of International Schools (CIS) Affiliated Consultant, with the following areas of expertise:

• Appraisal and Professional Development
• Leadership Training
• School Governance
• Strategic Planning

Michael’s first book, Hidden in Plain Site: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders, is the foundation for all his leadership development work. Since writing this book he launched www.middleleader.com where he is regularly posting articles on school leadership and interviews with school leadership influencers.

Shameek Ghosh

Shameek have been a subject leader for quite a number of years before working his way through to become a DP coordinator, Head of Secondary and Head of School. In his journey, one of the key things he have discovered is the role that the subject leaders play in ensuring the the curriculum is planned, taught and assessed in a coherent manner that maximizes a student’s learning experience. Join him in this journey to learn together on what are best practices and how you can reflect on improving yourselves and our community.
