“Returning for its third year, this community supports educators in enhancing the planning and evaluation of professional development in schools. Effective leadership in professional learning is key to school development, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement, all aimed at positively impacting students.
This community offers opportunities to share and learn practical, proven tools and strategies for maximizing growth, learning, and progress. Key topics include:

Ewen Bailey
Ewen Bailey is an experienced international leader in education who supports teachers and leaders to build resilient, collaborative teams focused on continuous improvement.
Currently based in Singapore, Ewen has previously directed whole-school professional development for one of China’s top IB World schools, where he fostered a collaborative culture of student-centred professional learning.
During the pandemic, he led an innovative project with England’s Department for Education and Oak National Academy that delivered high-quality online training resources for thousands of initial teacher trainees and early career teachers.
Sarah Plews
Sarah’s experience lies at the nexus of teaching and learning, leadership and professional learning. Over the course of her career, she has strived to foster cultures of coaching and collaborative professionalism.
She is committed to developing team process and thrives when collaborating and supporting others to succeed. Sarah is passionate about building capacity at the individual, team and organizational level.
Following her most recent in-school role directing professional development for growth and learning at an international school in Portugal, she now spends her time as a consultant, coach and facilitator, supporting leadership, professional learning and school development projects at a local, regional and global level.
