Generative and collaborative Peer Learning Community for Global Citizenship and Service Learning Educators

This Community will be focused around collaboration and learning to advance our practices in the realms of service learning, global citizenship education, sustainability, teaching for the Sustainable Development Goals and developing a critical, reflective and inclusive approach with our practices and programs.

This community is ideal for any educator or leader engaging in aspects of global citizenship education and/or service learning, or desiring to grow these programs in their classroom or school.

Haakon Gould

Haakon Gould has a range of leadership experience through diverse roles such as Grade Level Leader, Head of Department, Service-Learning Coach, and CAS Coordinator. Haakon has conducted sessions for the Education Consortium of Service Learning, participated in the ACAMIS Spring Leadership Conference, co-led a recent workshop in collaboration with International School Services, and shares his insights informally through his role as an administrator of a coordinators support group.

Jocelyne Perut

Jocelyne Perut has been a French teacher for almost twenty years and the Global Citizenship Coordinator at her school school for 3 years. She is interested in SDG4, Quality Education, and SDG17, Partnering for the Goals. She is an inquirer, risk-taker, open-minded, and attends a variety of webinars, and conferences to broaden her knowledge and skills. She is a very active person who enjoys cooking, reading, socialising, travelling around the world, swimming and walking her dog, Mali.
