Elizabeth Daley is a cultural hybrid with an American passport, raised in multiple countries, and educated in international schools in places like the former Czechoslovakia, Indonesia, Egypt, and Bangladesh. Her parents began their careers as international school teachers in the late 60s and early 70s, inspiring her desire to live overseas and provide her family with a similarly diverse and enriching environment. Sixteen years ago, her husband, Jonathan, currently a 5th-grade teacher at MKIS, shared this vision, and together they left their home in Bellingham, Washington, to begin an international journey. Since then, they have taught in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and China. They have two children: McKenna, 19, who recently completed her first year of university, and Matthew, 13, a 7th grader.
